Can a 15 years old student move to a college?
so, I am 14 years old (this december), from Indonesia and I'll taking my IGCSE 'O' level on Oct 2012. My principle said that I will get my certificate on January 2013 and I am allowed to go to a college When I go browsing on the internet in the international student section, it is true that I can go to a college with an 'O' level certificate but it says that I needs to be 16 years old. My relatives says that age is not important, just complete their requirement and documentation. Is it true? So, what do you think can I go into a community college or any college at USA or finishing my high school here? Thanks for your answer.

Perhaps you should do A Levels and then go to university afterwards. You would need to take the SATs in order to be accepted into a US college.
2 :
I live in Indonesia and I go to college at the age of 16 and I'm fine with it.You must take the A level exam first before you go to the college.

Hi, Using google I found a couple of universities who have dentistry degrees: UI: http://www.fkg.ui.ac.id/prg/fkg_maha.php?kas=a&utk=dalam&mnu=s1 Gadjah Mada: http://www.ugm.ac.id/content.php?page=4&fak=10 I'm not a dentist, but I have had some terrible experiences with dentists in Indonesia, so it would be great to see some more professional dentists being trained. Alternatively, why not visit or email a good local dentist and ask their advice. Ask where they were trained. I'm sure most dentists would be happy to help Good luck!

Check with your college library. Many libraries subscribe to scholarly journals, either hard copies or electronically. A journal such as History of the Political Economy, Journal of Economic History, Econometricia, or Journal of the History of Economic Thought. If they don't have copies there, they may be able to help you obtain copies of them. I did a paper on the economic impact of infrastructure to Papua New Guinea and found things that were of use in these. Hope this helps.

Thailand or Indonesia???? ONLY KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE PLEASE!!?
Thailand or Indonesia???? ONLY KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE PLEASE!!?
I'm planning a two-week (this is subject to change) trip to south East Asia...I was originally interested in going to Thailand... I've kinda been obsessed with Thailand for a pretty long time...and just recently i've begun thinking about Indonesia...i'm planning this trip for December of 2012 (I'm a broke college student so i need some time to save up the money.lol.) ANYWAY, my question really is which one do you recommend?? which one is more interesting?? has nicer beaches?? etc...most importantly which one would be cheaper...i understand that by western standards they are both fairly cheap...I think that by the time i'm ready to go I'll have saved a little over $3,000, which i know is really not very much...but i'm not looking for a lot of luxury...i mainly just want to go somewhere different and exotic.lol. ANy information you can give me is appreciated!!! OH, and how much money do you think i should save up?? is 3000 adequate?

Indonesia for SURRRRRRRRRRE nice place good people i met sum people there i also read TIME or sum othr magazine where they TotALLY recommended going there go2 the beaches talk to the people youll gain alot frm it n have fun inshallah
2 :
You're gonna spent your 2012 winter solstice (Mayan New Cycle) there? Anyway, comparing between Thailand and Indonesian. Thailand is safer and Caucasian friendlier. eg. Jakarta riot vs Bangkok riot. $3000 should be enough for a bag packer since your flight is not gonna be cheap.
3 :
By the time you plan to come, the price of an airline ticket will be over $1,500, the baht will be worth 20 to the $. Either save more or forget about Thailand and just visit Atlantic City.
4 :
never been to Indonesia, but I *love* Thailand. As it is less muslim than Indonesia, probably better partying there. December is high season, though...but if you want to do it on the cheap, I bet you will find a way
5 :
Even if your plane ticket costs $2000 next year you can definitely get by with $1000 for the 10 days in Thailand. I think you could even stay little longer if you are careful. Backpackers on a budget manage to make do at half your money. Of course if you have a problem handling money now you will have a problem in either country. Keep in mind that December is just about the most expensive time of the year to visit this area! From November to the end of January is when hotels are at the highest prices. December & January especially around the Christmas-New Years holidays have the highest prices for flights. Other times of the year are usually much cheaper. My suggestion is Thailand unless you are in some sort of seminary or nunnery that abhors drinking, partying or the occasional tryst with someone who interests you! You don't mention if you are a male or female, if you are female Bali keeps women coming back again and again for the Kuta Cowboys. But over the past few years since the terrorist bombings their destination has been more for Phuket. If you are a normal young man who prefers women and partying (along with beaches and normal tourist stuff) then choose Thailand. In Indonesia, except for mostly Bali, because of religious reasons you may have to dampen your enthusiasm. Thailand has a more liberal attitude when it comes to nightclubs and bars and lots of fun things! Thailand is more used to Western tourists showing up just about everywhere. Transportation is excellent in Thailand and reasonably priced. I think Thailand does tourism better than any country in that part of Asia! Indonesia had around 7 million tourists in 2010 and Thailand had around 15 million. Here are some helpful travel forums you can use for either country but between the two I think Thailand would be safer and offer more diversity for Westerners! http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowForum-g293916-i3687-o20-Bangkok.html http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/forum.jspa?forumID=51 http://forum.virtualtourist.com/forum-1943-1-Travel-Thailand-1-forum.html Good luck.
6 :
Bali is ok - but all in all - Indo. does not compare to the people & culture of Thailand... which is going to be far safer and not nearly as poor and depressing... Bali is Hindi, Indonesia is Islamic and Thailand is Buddhist - - I only mention this because it makes a difference in both safety and demeanor of the people... come to Thailand..
7 :
Go to indonesia if you want to get kidnapped and put up for ransom.
8 :
INDONESIA!! especially bali..
9 :
Indonesia has great surf beaches and is a little bit cheaper. Thailand tops it in every other area.

1. Gross National Product (google for more info.) 2. Some what capitalistic but quickly becoming more socialist. 3. Our federal government has been taken over by a group of socialist criminal thugs who do not care about even following our constitution.
2 :
GDP is gross domestic product (not national). It is the final goods and services produced inside the US borders. It is by geography not who makes it. A Japanese automaker making a car inside the US DOES count toward GDP 2. economic system is a market based capitalist system 3. political system is a representative democracy. That is people elect government officials who in term represent them in the government. THE U.S. IS NOT A DEMOCRACY sorry i don't understand the last part. GNP (gross national product) is final goods and services produced by U.S. citizens regardless of where they are; GDP I said earlier
3 :
Why hello! To answer your questions: 1) GDP is Gross Domestic Product. It's the value of all the goods and services produced WITHIN a country's borders. 2) The US is a somewhate regulated capitalistic system. For example we set price controls on essentials such as food and water, but no price controls on non-essentials such as televisions. We are not a Laissez-faire capitalism. The above description I gave is a simplification of what actually goes on here but I'd say it's accurate for the most part. 3) We're a representative republic. That means we elect people to represent us, and those representatives do the actual footwork of voting on bills (in general). We're not a democracy since every citizen doesn't vote on every bill. That might sound like America-bashing but it isn't, true democracies are virtually impossible to implement in a country with a large population. 4) The difference between GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and GNP (Gross National Product) is that the GDP is the value of goods/services produced WITHIN (stressing this) a country's physical borders, while the GNP is the value of goods/services produced by citizens of a country, regardless of physical location. So as an example consider a Nissan (brand of car) manufacturer here in the US. Nissan is a Japanese owned company. For the US GDP you would include the value of everything made by that factory (it is located in the US), but for the US GNP you would exclude the value (it is owned by the Japanese). "what you doing in office company you ?" Sorry I have no idea what you're saying here :/

Yes, you can. But, you must put the parents information and income information (converted to US Dollars) with whom you lived with the most recently on your fafsa application. Even if it has been several years. You will have to get your parents tax forms (from whatever country they live). When it asks for that parents Social Security number enter in nine 0's ( 000-00-0000 ) and print out the signature page and mail the signature page to them so they can sign it. They then need to mail the signed signature page to the address on the paper. You MUST have at least ONE parents information on your fafsa application (and if that parent is remarried their spouses income information as well). If you do not put parent information you will only get Unsubsidized student loans to go to college. The college must have a federal school code... generally these are in the US, with a few exceptions.

Does it Bother You That Obama Sold Drugs to Pay for College?
Does it Bother You That Obama Sold Drugs to Pay for College?
Most of us worked real jobs (like me) and took out student loans to pay for college (like me). Barack Hussein Obama however, paid for his 2 years at Occidental in Los Angeles, by selling really nasty Hawaiian marijuana. He must have been good at it though, since he never had to work, and at the end of 2 years he was able to travel to India, Pakistan, and Indonesia. What say you?

I say you don't know what you're talking about...
2 :
I say....see you tomorrow, when you have a new screen name, and a new president a screen name thats 9 days old...made clearly just to come in here and flame.
3 :
he didn't.
4 :
I like him even more now! I did not know that! Obama for president so we can legalize marijuana! Can I get some of that sticky icky icky! Obama for president and I hope he smokes a big fat blunt at his inauguration!
5 :
Whats it the fire? You think I can still get some?
6 :
no, it doesnt make him a bad person, he just knows how to survive.
7 :
No. That bothers me the least about Obama. How do you know it was nasty weed? Did you buy some?
8 :
McCain got into college by sleeping with the Dean and then killing his wife!
9 :
Doesn't bother me as long as it doesn't bother you that Bush did drugs in college
10 :
please show a link to support your claim....sure it is an important issue if it is right
11 :
The young people who worship Obama, are in for a huge surprize...Like Clinton did, he will get in and say Oh shucks...things are really worse than we thought..I cannot give you any tax cuts now! Yes it does bother me...just like when slick willy said that 'He smoked it but never inhaled it"...how stupid. ..
12 :
He sold drugs to your mom, she's a crackhead
13 :
So, do you believe everything you read or hear? or do just pull these things out of ur behind?
14 :
Its not his past that counts, its what he is now. And what he is would be a far better president than that moron McCain. And may I just say that you posting on here about this is pathetic, and that your life is worth nothing when compared to his, no offense. You were probably the one he was selling it to, bogan.
15 :
Well, I SAY That he was preparing to be the leader of the world's largest drug organisation --The United States of America/CIA!
16 :
Once again... another fine example of a sad, sad case.
17 :
Wow, he did? And just when I thought he never acted in a business venture in his life, and had no entrepreneurial experience at all! Thanks for the info.. I used to really Hate Obama, but this, and his association with Bill Ayers, have really raised him up a few notches in my book. But I still won't vote for him. And BTW; there's no such thing as nasty Hawaiian. That's the mainland grown crap.
18 :
He tried drugs when he was young, not in college.MORE Right wing lies folks. When things get tough, they come out like ROACHES.
19 :
It wasn't really nasty grass, it was THE BEST- Maui Wowie Seedless Blue-flowered sensimilla . This does not bother me as much as McCain's 'Wild Days" where he crashed over 5 jets and killed over 136 of his own shipmates on the Forrestal. Or the fact that McCain has lived off of taxpayer money for his whole life, and although he had all of the advantages, he squandered his blessings and would never have gone anywhere if his Father and Grandfathers were not Navy Admirals.
20 :
muslim, terrorist, communist, son of satan, now drug dealer? What will you McCain lovers come up with next?
21 :
And of course you have nothing whatsoever to back this up?
22 :
It bothers me that there are more and more people in this world who are idiots. What a waste of oxygen!
23 :
im from the u.k and i know that's a rumour
24 :
George Bush.
25 :
If you're going to make things up, I can claim that he sold them to McCain.
26 :
It wouldn't surprise me if it were true but it might also be a "cover story" to hide who's really behind this commie. People would believe that story and excuse it because "of his race"--we've all been pre-programmed to believe that he wouldn't be able to obtain a job because of his race, in other words, and so would excuse this in him when we would not excuse mere use for Dan Quayle or when this revelation was threatened against GW Bush by his so-called "spiritual advisor" at a time when he was pressing jewsreal hard for a resolution with Palestine. See how all that works? Are there any other sources for your story than His Satanic Majesty's own words? One would think there would be ancient potheads coming out of the woodwork to tell sordid tales of their rope-smoke besotted college years, courtesy of Candy Man Bro'bama. I've yet to see any or even hear of any threatened such independent sources. That tells me that if he's self-confessed (I admit I never read the book) then he's probably covering up funding from a source whose help would preclude his being successfully elected, even in this deluded nation.

So, do you believe everything you read or hear? or do just pull these things out of ur behind?

Should i buy blackberry 8520 right now or wait?
I am a grade 12 student and next year i will studying abroad either UK or Singapore or Australia. I like the blackberry 8520 so much and i want to buy it. However, if i buy it from indonesia (i live in indonesia), i'm afraid with the blackberry data plan because it will be expensive if use a sim card from indonesia. If i unlocked the blackberry and use other sim card from either UK or Singapore or Australia, will i be able to experience the blackberry push email?

What do you think Indonesia's education in general?
What do you think Indonesia's education in general?
Facts about education in Indonesia (from what I observed as an Indonesian myself): -long school hour is adored by most educators -teachers are always 'right' -free education is rare -student orientation period is a time when new students have to be verbally (and sometimes physically) abused and do tasks that has nothing to do with education -students who are major in social science(s) are described as 'not so intelligent' -students are obliged to do the National Test. Questions are made by government people. Students who didn't pass the test can't graduate from primary, junior high and senior high levels and must repeat another year no matter how good are you at school. The period of the test is less than a week (three days for primary and junior high levels) -Students' effort are almost never appreciated, no matter how hard you try -Students are expected to adapt themselves with the teachers (not the other way around) I only want non-Indonesians to answer this!

Yes there is a lot to say... While you live in Islamic states, the government enforcement officials expect that the foreigner follow and do all those done by the natives. A number people suffered in differrent places due to this cultural misunderstanding. Some had left some good jobs and went back to their own countries due to cultural clash.
5 :
I live in a multi-cultural country and the people who are both born here and immigrate here find it hard to get along with each other. During the last 3 years more rioting and marches have taken place. - Pepper.
6 :
Ah yes, cultural adjustment in a new place is a real problem, for sometime at least, anywhere in the world. Conflict can happen in not understanding little things, like negotiating traffic. For example, in USA, traffic moves on the ‘right’ side of the road, while in Europe and in many countries of Asia, they flow on the ‘left’. So people who’ve just arrived from one place to another have to consciously be aware of the rules to not fall over their own feet, so to speak, and end up wrong sided. Much larger understanding and adjustment is needed with religious norms. In the Islamic Gulf states, for example, you need to be very aware of the cultural context to not goof up through ignorance. Like during the holy month of Ramadan, Muslim people fast during the day. All restaurants/food shops remain closed, and nobody, just nobody at all is allowed to eat/drink/smoke publicly during that time. Failure to comply could lead to being arrested.

How much does a meal cost in America?
How much does a meal cost in America?
Hi, I live in Indonesia, a country in south east Asia. Our currency is IDR (Rupiahs) I looked it up, that more or less, 1 USD =8.000 Rupiah As a college student, we can have a great meal at just 15.000 IDR here... I know the answers might vary, but I'd love to hear anyway.

1 :
Double Cheeseburger combo from McD's = $3.50 other meals = at least $5-6 Expect at least 15 and up in a "restaurant" like Olive Garden, Red Lobster and stuff like that but you won't be frequenting there as a college student Also check for student meal plans at your college, their prices should be competitive and affordable for some... though some can be overly expensive.
2 :
What part of America are you curious about? In most of the word there are low-income communities, middle class areas, and the very, very ritzy spots (like Beverly Hills). Meal prices vary according to the type of restaurant (fast food, family-style, or high end fancy restaurants) and the communities they're located in. In a middle class neighborhood at a family-style restaurant, I would think a dinner would cost about $10.00 (then you still have to add drinks, tax, and tip). That's about 88,550 IDR. A fast food meal in a middle class neighborhood might be about half that.
3 :
It depends on the part of America you go to and where you eat, at a restaurant. New York City $10 - $40 (80.000 - 320.000 IDR). Dallas $6 - $30 (48.000 - 240.000 IDR). Making your food to eat at home $3 - $10 (24.000 - 80.000 IDR).
4 :
It depends on what you are eating. When I was a college student, I managed to have many meals for less than $1. Pre-packaged Ramen Noodle soup is a staple of many college students, and you can get that for about $0.25 per serving. Add an apple (about $0.50), and you have a filling, though unspectacular, meal. I don't know the exact numbers, but I would imagine that the normal meals that I prepare at home now are about $4.00 each. But if I eat in a restaurant, I can spend anywhere from about $10 to $30 on a meal. High priced restaurants can cost in the hundreds of dollars, but I certainly don't go to those places!

Yes, best way is to try to learn the lenguage, go out to shopping places, night clubs, or do what you like doing, you'll need to adjust to the new food, customs, traditions etc. you'll also feel homesick, don't worry that's normal, takes between 2mos. up to a year to adjust to the new changes.
2 :
i totally understand what you're goin through....d best thing would be to learn the language..that would help you a lot i'm a student in romania and it was very hard for me to adjust especially the first month..esp because i'm black and in eastern europe black people are very rare..thankfully romania is not a hateful and racist country don't worry, you'll be fine....it gets easier with time...

When I visited the Philippines I was blown away by how different it was. The first thing I noticed was the poverty. Streets were unclean, people were begging, traffic was everywhere. I felt a bit sick as we left the airport, so I closed my eyes a bit because I was trying to get the images out of my head of what I saw. As we got farther away from the major cities, the air felt a bit more cleaner, and the areas got greener. There definitely was a language barrier. I had no idea how to speak the two main languages - tagalog and ilocano. Luckily, most of all my relatives spoke english, so I was able to get around. The way of life in the Philippines is definitely different from that of America. Schools get out earlier, people wake up earlier, shops are on streets, right outside a house, in urban and rural areas. We had to pay for our own toilet paper as well. When we went back in the busier cities, I had to get used to being up and close to everyone because of how crowded it was. Shoulder to shoulder. It made me uncomfortable because of how I was used to having room walking around. I had to change a few habits when staying for a few weeks in the Philippines, mostly because that I couldn't speak the language. I could not go around as much as I pleased, had to stay close to my grandmother's home. Had to get used to doing some farm work, paying to use the internet in the cafes, and had to learn to get a bit dirty. I was used to using the shower at least once a day, but instead went like 3 times a week.

I have been there before, your best bet is to do what you are doing now and make it known that you need money. Go to http://doiop.com/money4college They have a loan search tool that works well, but first fill out that form bc you will get emails keeping you up to date with the latest financial advice opportunities.

How to go to college if I still processing my asylum (religious persecution) visa? Thank you?
I moved from Indonesia, looking for safer place, and I think It would be great if I can get college education, the problem is, when I moved, I didn't prepare for that. I have social security and work permit but still having problem with financial ( Alone in the US ). I called online college, but they never reply after they knew that I don't have GED or Student visa. thank you for your time. God bless you. I can not go back to my country because of this persecution, that why I have to get more education to survive.

The best thing for you is to go back to your country instead of working in petty jobs and trying to get legal status. Believe me, its going to be a tough future for you. Don't hate America, America is the best but you cannot stay like with this situation and hate US for the hardship you are bringing to yourselves.

You & the other 10 million who will be persucuted. Have you ever heard about fighting within instead of running away. Go home get on your feet & make it happen. Do not let these tyrants win.

You can attend class while pursuing your political asylum request, but there's no way to know how long that will take before a decision is reached. If you are not granted asylum, you are required to leave, unless you have some other status you haven't told us about here. Many universities would not want to give you a slot and deny someone else, if you might not be able to complete the program. Do you have a high school diploma? If not, then you would have to get a GED to get into most universities as a high school diploma is considered a basic qualification for a university program. As for financial costs, that is up to you, as it is for everyone else here. Perhaps instead of applying to a university at this point you should work on your GED and then go on to university if you are granted asylum.

As muslims we have been instructed through revelation (the Qur'an) and the prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), to pray at five designated times of the day. In order they are: 1. Before sunrise 2. Noontime 3. Mid-Afternoon 4. Sunset 5. and Night In this way we keep the rememberance of Allah (the arabic word for the One God, creator of the heavens and Earth) in our minds and hearts. What she is most like carrying in her tote is a simple prayer mat and perhaps a compass so that she could tell which direction is Mecca. If you would like to know what she recites in her prayers you can just google how to pray, and you see a link to islamicfinder.org, peace.

Indonesian Exchange Student?
We are going to host a 19 year old exchange student from Indonesia for a few months. I've never been there and don't know too much about the country other then what I can read online/in books. Any pointers on the culture, cuisine of current social scene there?

wow, I am noticing that you do not have any answers, well I am not an expert on Indonesia, but I can tell you a few things Indonesia is a big country, like the US many different areas, differences, etc Most Indonesians are Muslim, it is the largest Muslim country in the world Indonesia (colonially) was linked to Holland. Indonesian people can travel to and from Netherlands without visa. I am assuming that you are in USA, they will have many preconceived notions about USA based on movies and TV shows probably more than anything else. Be aware that many nations screen their students quite rigorously for programs like this, and the individual might be under tremendous pressure to do well, represent their country in a good light, etc. You might have to reassure him/her that they can be themselves. Also they might be from extremely wealthy background (or politically connected) as some times people with some "pull" can get their children into the program more readily. If you are working with an organization to arrange the exchange study closely any hints and materials provided, they are probably pretty accurate, yet . . . Keep in mind that individuals will vary quite a bit from what is "typical" for any culture. If your student is trying to be a "good" Muslim during their stay then they will have to rise before dawn for first prayers. And not eat during Ramadan in Feb That is a really tough thing for a young person, not eating. They get cranky, as you might expect. You should rent an older movie (Mel Gibson & Sigourney Weaver were the leads) about the fall of the government in Indonesia in the 1960s. I wish I could remember the name of the film, it's a good flick and will give you background in recent history. Jakarta is an enormous city, like London, Tokyo, Mexcio City. Good luck!! I really wish you all the best, we are still close with our former exchange-daughter, 12 years later

I don't celebrate Idul Fitri day in my country. And it would be better if you partnered up with Jesus instead. It' a matter of your eternal salvation and not spending eternity in the lake of fire. Listen to the Christian missionaries that are risking their lives to go over to your country to tell you this. Jesus tells us, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

East Timor is cheap, or Kiribati is a great little known get away.
3 :
Philippines. Reasonably safe. If you stay out of the Muslim areas. Cambodia for very cheap. Vietnam is getting unsafe, Madagascar. If you speak French or are learning it. If you don't mind small fan rooms, You can have a good time in most of Asia on $20 a day U.S. Go $40 if you need air conditioning and a few small comforts. I am to old for back pack and tent. But some say $10 and get by. But you may be robbed.

Unfortunately you will not be able to do this as a high school student. This year would have been your final opportunity and you are much too late to apply. Also, programs do not do this for free, although some offer scholarships -- again, however, you are too late to apply. I would suggest looking at this again in university.

Unfortunately you will not be able to do this as a high school student. This year would have been your final opportunity and you are much too late to apply. Also, programs do not do this for free, although some offer scholarships -- again, however, you are too late to apply. I would suggest looking at this again in university.

We believe that you should prepare for college by mastering certain subjects and skills. You should demonstrate your proficiency in the areas described below by taking Achievement² and Advanced Placement tests. In summary, we recommend: the study of English for four years: close and extensive reading of the classics of the world's literature; four years of a single foreign language; the study of history for at least two, and preferably three years: American History, European History, and one additional advanced history course; the study of mathematics for four years, including the particular topics described; the study of science for four years: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and preferably one of these at an advanced level; frequent practice in the writing of expository prose. Various important secondary school subjects, such as art and music, are not specifically mentioned in our recommendations. The omission of these subjects should not be interpreted as a value judgment. We are concerned only with secondary school subjects for which we have data that suggest they are specific prerequisites for college work. http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/prospective/applying/college_prep/index.html

Going to college in the USA is very expensive and you must obtain a student Visa and prove you will be able to afford to live and pay for your schooling. Here is a good website on what you need to do. You will not qualify for any federal financial aid from the USA, but you might consider applying for scholarships. EDIT: Most schools have different admissions standards for international students and the above quoted standards are for Americans... you will be required to take the TOEFL test and meet other requirements. Good luck.

Who is Barry Soetoro, and when did he officially change his name to B. Hussein Obama?
Barry Soetoro was an Indonesian Islamic, and applied for admission to Occidental College as a foreign student and as a citizen of Indonesia. This is fact, documented evidence, per Superior Court, State of California.

From what I understand Soetoro was his stepfather's name. It's not uncommon for young children to take the surname of their stepfather. I think his full name is Barack Hussein Obama. He goes by his first name, although his second name seems to be the focus for people who do not have the intellect to construct a political argument, instead relying on some retarded notion that religion and the State have anything to do with each other. It's actually a mockery of the laws set down by the Founders of the nation...that's funny isn't it?

I bet this is THE TRUTH for you and three other brain-dead right wingers!!! Better spread it around!!!
5 :
Evidence that the court accepted it please? The fact is, these rumors were alleged in a lawsuit that was dismissed. That doesn't make them findings of fact. The rumor that Obama attended Occidental as a foreign student was started as an April Fool's joke by a fictitious organization. http://amfoi.wordpress.com/

Are college interviews available for those applicants who live abroad?
Are college interviews available for those applicants who live abroad?
I'm planning to apply for Yale for college. But, I live in Indonesia. I know that I can apply online as an international student and take TOEFL test. But do I get to have an interview, though? I'm worried if I didn't get it because I wasn't really interesting 'on paper' (I really, REALLY want to go there). I believe a part of my chances to get into Yale is on the interview. Thank you very much for your time, though.

Yale does not require an interview. An interview does help and there is a Yale alumni club in Indonesia. It is likely that the admissions office will ask one of the alums to conduct an interview if it feels one would be conducive to its decision.

can a High School junior from outside USA apply to community college?
I am a high school student (11th grade) from Outside USA (Indonesia). I want to apply to a community college and perhaps take a dual credit. Is this possible?

You can go to a community college or any university as long as you have a student visa. As for dual credit, I don't think that's possible.
2 :
If you're 18 years or older you may apply directly. If you're under 18 then no, you cannot apply directly as you did not graduate or have a GED yet. You might be able to get in with a special entry application with the support of your school's counselor, but I'm not really sure that would work since you're out of country. Additionally, you would need to meet any requirements for a student visa, notably proof of sufficient financial capability.

Hi. You may want to pursue intersts in building implosion/demolition and/or structural engineering. Try the website I listed below. This should lead you to schools with departments specializing in the controlled detinations. Good Luck. I enjoyed this question.

I actually know of a program that might work for you. It's at the Colorado School of Mines, in the USA. The link is below.

Hi,,,I'm Christa,Indonesia. I'm a student of Airlangga university and taking cross cultural understanding class. If you have ever been in a new country, you can tell me how you adjusted with the culture there. Especially about the weather, habits, lifestyle. Or whatever you did.

When first arrived canada, I went to the ATM to withdraw some cash. I waited right behind the old guy while he was using the machine. Then, I turned around, only did I find that there were 5 or 6 people waiting in the line 6 or 7 feet away from the ATM machine. Back in HK, because of the high real estate price, usually we were not provided ample waiting space, so we just waited right behind someone who is using the ATM. Of course, I was very embarrased.

Stupid people, like yourself, are grabbing onto the Muslim thing and running with it...like chickens with their heads cut off. They've forgotten all about the extreme Christian church he belonged to with it's 'crazy' pastor now that the Republicans have given them something new to be afraid of. You also have to consider the fact that you had to register as a Muslim in order to go to the school he attended. If that was the school his parents wanted him to attend, then why not just do what you have to do? Lots of protestants and Jews attend Catholic schools, but that doesn't make them Catholic, now does it? It shouldn't matter even if he WAS still a Muslim, but most Americans are afraid of what they don't understand. Why Obama went to Muslim school in Indonesia?
Why Obama went to Muslim school in Indonesia?
I think so far he is the best candidate for US president, but why he went to muslim school. I knew that Indonesia is the largest muslim country, but the school he was in, was "madrasah" school. It was exacly muslim school. There is a lot schools in Indonesia that most students are muslim, but "madrasah" is special for muslim students. The teachers are more radical. Is anybody ever research and talk to christian people in Indonesia about this school?. I don't want to spread issue but I knew how crazy those radical Muslim againts Christian.

Because he was in Indonesia. FYI, Madrasah is the Arabic word for any type of school, secular or religious (of any religion).
4 :
*yawn* Obama is a christian. I went to catholic school one summer, that doesn't make me a catholic. The idea that Obama is a crazy muslim terrorist is so absurd.
5 :
It has been proven that the school he went to was not a Muslim school. He traveled to indonesia with his mother and step father. The school was not a madrasah.
6 :
Because there were no Jews in that school.
7 :
maybe cause his dad is muslim. my dad is jewish and made me go to hebrew school, but im not a Jew. I think that he did not go to a radical school though. That was republican propaganda.
8 :
It seems like his parents wanted to expose him to different things. He as what, 6? when he went to that school for a year or so. He also went to Catholic school over there.
9 :
The school he went to was a Catholic public school.
10 :
Rest assured every suicide bomber in Iraq went to the same type schools!
11 :
You will not be for Obama much longer, unless you are an anti-American radical. More and more about Obama's racist associations and past are finally being made public. Keep watching, he is not capable of being president.
12 :
That really doesn't matter. You'd be surprised how many people think that just because Obama is black that they have to come up with all kinds of foolishness because they don't want him to be elected. Unfortunately there are many people who just don't like him for that reason, and they are Christan.
13 :
Madrassa literally means "school". That's it. It has no other inherent meaning. It can be a grade school a high school a college a university, etc. It's has been used incorrectly by many people in this country to mean a school that teaches radical Islam and teaches kids to hate America and Israel. The people who use it incorrectly are simply perpetuating ignorance.

You will not be for Obama much longer, unless you are an anti-American radical. More and more about Obama's racist associations and past are finally being made public. Keep watching, he is not capable of being president.

That really doesn't matter. You'd be surprised how many people think that just because Obama is black that they have to come up with all kinds of foolishness because they don't want him to be elected. Unfortunately there are many people who just don't like him for that reason, and they are Christan.
