Its night here, 11:20 pm. The stars are out so I know there are no clouds in the sky. The temperature is about 58F/15C. It is dry and not humid and we expect clear skies and dry weather for another week. In the State of Rhode Island USA.

The most Easterly point in North America covers Land mass know as the "Rock" which is technically the 10th province to join confederation with Canada in 1949. We are well know for living in harsh conditions in a unpredictable climate to take advantage of the great fishing grounds. The weather here is generally non-threathing (no tornados, hurricane, earthquakes or floods) as long as you know what to expect in any given season. Our winter's are long and harsh with up to 30 feet of snow is many areas and we also have drastic weather changes all year round. This gives rise to the "Newfie" saying "If you don't like the weather in the front yard, look out out the back door". It is not unusual to see snow, rain, sun and fog in any given day in this region.
