If the USA was Muslim majority would Obama still be "Christian"? Or would he tout his Muslim background?
Instead of pretending his Dad wasn't Muslim and that he didn't attend and register as Muslim student in Indonesia. Why are Democrats trying to hide his background? It seems very prejudiced.

It's nice to see that despite their falling out of favor with Americans, the Republicans are still good at manipulating the thoughts of the ignorant masses. Obama is hiding nothing. Regardless of his past, he's a Christian now, and so his past doesn't really matter. The reason he's playing it down is obvious. Stupid people, like yourself, are grabbing onto the Muslim thing and running with it...like chickens with their heads cut off. They've forgotten all about the extreme Christian church he belonged to with it's 'crazy' pastor now that the Republicans have given them something new to be afraid of. You also have to consider the fact that you had to register as a Muslim in order to go to the school he attended. If that was the school his parents wanted him to attend, then why not just do what you have to do? Lots of protestants and Jews attend Catholic schools, but that doesn't make them Catholic, now does it? It shouldn't matter even if he WAS still a Muslim, but most Americans are afraid of what they don't understand. They think that all Muslims are terrorists (which is kind of like Muslims thinking we're all terrorists just because a few crazies bomb abortion clinics).

If he was Muslim why would he practice Christianity for so many years and never attended a mosque? If he was Muslim I would still support him.
