When first arrived canada, I went to the ATM to withdraw some cash. I waited right behind the old guy while he was using the machine. Then, I turned around, only did I find that there were 5 or 6 people waiting in the line 6 or 7 feet away from the ATM machine. Back in HK, because of the high real estate price, usually we were not provided ample waiting space, so we just waited right behind someone who is using the ATM. Of course, I was very embarrased.

If the USA was Muslim majority would Obama still be "Christian"? Or would he tout his Muslim background?
If the USA was Muslim majority would Obama still be "Christian"? Or would he tout his Muslim background?
Instead of pretending his Dad wasn't Muslim and that he didn't attend and register as Muslim student in Indonesia. Why are Democrats trying to hide his background? It seems very prejudiced.

I guess that means he is pretending every Sunday then. And his wife, his kids...yes, that must be it. Where is his father by the way?

It's nice to see that despite their falling out of favor with Americans, the Republicans are still good at manipulating the thoughts of the ignorant masses. Obama is hiding nothing. Regardless of his past, he's a Christian now, and so his past doesn't really matter. The reason he's playing it down is obvious. Stupid people, like yourself, are grabbing onto the Muslim thing and running with it...like chickens with their heads cut off. They've forgotten all about the extreme Christian church he belonged to with it's 'crazy' pastor now that the Republicans have given them something new to be afraid of. You also have to consider the fact that you had to register as a Muslim in order to go to the school he attended. If that was the school his parents wanted him to attend, then why not just do what you have to do? Lots of protestants and Jews attend Catholic schools, but that doesn't make them Catholic, now does it? It shouldn't matter even if he WAS still a Muslim, but most Americans are afraid of what they don't understand. They think that all Muslims are terrorists (which is kind of like Muslims thinking we're all terrorists just because a few crazies bomb abortion clinics).
17 :
No, he'd go with the flow. He's the least genuine politician I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot.

Religion has nothing to do with it. Being a Muslim does, its a disease. The DNC is hiding this like they hid the Edwards affair. The old stream media has been bought and sold. Now the DNC puts plants on sites like this.

Why Obama went to Muslim school in Indonesia?
Why Obama went to Muslim school in Indonesia?
I think so far he is the best candidate for US president, but why he went to muslim school. I knew that Indonesia is the largest muslim country, but the school he was in, was "madrasah" school. It was exacly muslim school. There is a lot schools in Indonesia that most students are muslim, but "madrasah" is special for muslim students. The teachers are more radical. Is anybody ever research and talk to christian people in Indonesia about this school?. I don't want to spread issue but I knew how crazy those radical Muslim againts Christian.

3 :
Because he was in Indonesia. FYI, Madrasah is the Arabic word for any type of school, secular or religious (of any religion).
4 :
*yawn* Obama is a christian. I went to catholic school one summer, that doesn't make me a catholic. The idea that Obama is a crazy muslim terrorist is so absurd.
5 :
It has been proven that the school he went to was not a Muslim school. He traveled to indonesia with his mother and step father. The school was not a madrasah.
6 :
Because there were no Jews in that school.
7 :
maybe cause his dad is muslim. my dad is jewish and made me go to hebrew school, but im not a Jew. I think that he did not go to a radical school though. That was republican propaganda.
8 :
It seems like his parents wanted to expose him to different things. He as what, 6? when he went to that school for a year or so. He also went to Catholic school over there.
9 :
The school he went to was a Catholic public school.
10 :
Rest assured every suicide bomber in Iraq went to the same type schools!
11 :
You will not be for Obama much longer, unless you are an anti-American radical. More and more about Obama's racist associations and past are finally being made public. Keep watching, he is not capable of being president.
12 :
That really doesn't matter. You'd be surprised how many people think that just because Obama is black that they have to come up with all kinds of foolishness because they don't want him to be elected. Unfortunately there are many people who just don't like him for that reason, and they are Christan.
13 :
Madrassa literally means "school". That's it. It has no other inherent meaning. It can be a grade school a high school a college a university, etc. It's has been used incorrectly by many people in this country to mean a school that teaches radical Islam and teaches kids to hate America and Israel. The people who use it incorrectly are simply perpetuating ignorance.

I'm Mann. From Campbell, California USA. Those who come into our country can most likely find an easy time adjusting. USA is a melting pot where people from all over the world, from all different cultures come in to try and make a living here. The reasons each person comes here is different. Maybe more opportunities, maybe a better lifestyle, maybe it is safer. Around the area I live, most people get along fine, despite of being a different religion or from a different country. Cultural conflict? Sometimes people find the actions that people do that are from a different culture revolting, disgusting, horrible, or maybe it just makes them uncomfortable from what they are used to. People are able to do almost anything what want as long as it does not break any law. Having disputes because of being from somewhere else may be common, but easily solved.

when I lived in Singapore for a week, I'm immersed in new problems: housing, transportations, new friends, eating, and also language. i just can handle it with understanding any differences encountered. its a normal part of the adjustment process and I need not to be ashamed of it. i just begin to understand textbooks or dictionary and lectures. I must experience all the stages and its helpful in understanding the language and also the cultures.

australian student visa assessment level?
im 16 and i just graduated year 11 and applying for my student visa to australia for my foundation studies. what's my assessment level? im from indonesia

To be considered for a Student Visa, you must first complete an application form (157W) which is available free of charge either from the Australian High Commission. The application form must be accompanied by the correct application fee, which should be in the form of a bank draft made payable to the Australian High Commission. It is best to apply through a university representative as the application procedure is quite long and cumbersome. The application fee for a student (temporary) visa can be found from the official High Commission. The fee is subject to change without notice. An application will not be accepted unless it is made in the prescribed form and with the correct fee.
2 :
You would be Assessment Level 2. Foundation studies have the same AL as that of Higher Education but even if you will be at a secondary school, the AL is the same. Make sure you understand the additional requirements for the welfare of students under 18. http://www.immi.gov.au/students/students/571-2/eligibility-student-18.htm

how to determine the pressure power, pressure rates and head suction from a peristaltic pump?
how to determine the pressure power, pressure rates and head suction from a peristaltic pump?
i am a student from indonesia, As part of my engineering degree I am to design a peristaltic pump. I have found a lot of general background information such as working principle; advantages etc. However I have struggled to find more indepth information on the actual theory of design. Such that I am unable to determine, for example, the optimum amount of rollers or shoes; flow and pressure rates ; optimum speed, etc. If anyone has experience of these pumps and could point me in the right direction or link me to useful websites or textbooks which would allow me to complete this project with the desired scientific proof i would be very grateful. I thank you in advance for your time.

I think the best thing to do would be to contact a pump manufacturer or distributer. They should be able to tell you some pupmp specifics.
