Who is Barry Soetoro, and when did he officially change his name to B. Hussein Obama?
Barry Soetoro was an Indonesian Islamic, and applied for admission to Occidental College as a foreign student and as a citizen of Indonesia. This is fact, documented evidence, per Superior Court, State of California.

Is this delusional? Or just more Fox nonsense?
2 :
Please stop confusing the pinko's with facts. We go strictly on emotion here.
3 :
From what I understand Soetoro was his stepfather's name. It's not uncommon for young children to take the surname of their stepfather. I think his full name is Barack Hussein Obama. He goes by his first name, although his second name seems to be the focus for people who do not have the intellect to construct a political argument, instead relying on some retarded notion that religion and the State have anything to do with each other. It's actually a mockery of the laws set down by the Founders of the nation...that's funny isn't it?
4 :
I bet this is THE TRUTH for you and three other brain-dead right wingers!!! Better spread it around!!!
5 :
Evidence that the court accepted it please? The fact is, these rumors were alleged in a lawsuit that was dismissed. That doesn't make them findings of fact. The rumor that Obama attended Occidental as a foreign student was started as an April Fool's joke by a fictitious organization. http://amfoi.wordpress.com/

Are college interviews available for those applicants who live abroad?

Are college interviews available for those applicants who live abroad?
I'm planning to apply for Yale for college. But, I live in Indonesia. I know that I can apply online as an international student and take TOEFL test. But do I get to have an interview, though? I'm worried if I didn't get it because I wasn't really interesting 'on paper' (I really, REALLY want to go there). I believe a part of my chances to get into Yale is on the interview. Thank you very much for your time, though.

Yale does not require an interview. An interview does help and there is a Yale alumni club in Indonesia. It is likely that the admissions office will ask one of the alums to conduct an interview if it feels one would be conducive to its decision.

can a High School junior from outside USA apply to community college?

can a High School junior from outside USA apply to community college?
I am a high school student (11th grade) from Outside USA (Indonesia). I want to apply to a community college and perhaps take a dual credit. Is this possible?

You can go to a community college or any university as long as you have a student visa. As for dual credit, I don't think that's possible.
2 :
If you're 18 years or older you may apply directly. If you're under 18 then no, you cannot apply directly as you did not graduate or have a GED yet. You might be able to get in with a special entry application with the support of your school's counselor, but I'm not really sure that would work since you're out of country. Additionally, you would need to meet any requirements for a student visa, notably proof of sufficient financial capability.

Why not go to university for a degree in world peace and get a Nobel Peace Prize?
2 :
Join the military. Engineering units have to do exactly what you wish to learn. Otherwise, I imagine structural engineering would be the way to go.

Uranium-238 in large amounts! Sorry, that's all I know.
4 :
lol,get in touch with the open university i think they have both intermediate and advanced courses in blowing up large buildings at an affordable price and the best thing is you can study from home!good look with the blowin stuff up business mate.
5 :
Hi. You may want to pursue intersts in building implosion/demolition and/or structural engineering. Try the website I listed below. This should lead you to schools with departments specializing in the controlled detinations. Good Luck. I enjoyed this question.

I actually know of a program that might work for you. It's at the Colorado School of Mines, in the USA. The link is below.

Have you ever been in a new country and get problem with their cultural?
Hi,,,I'm Christa,Indonesia. I'm a student of Airlangga university and taking cross cultural understanding class. If you have ever been in a new country, you can tell me how you adjusted with the culture there. Especially about the weather, habits, lifestyle. Or whatever you did.

When first arrived canada, I went to the ATM to withdraw some cash. I waited right behind the old guy while he was using the machine. Then, I turned around, only did I find that there were 5 or 6 people waiting in the line 6 or 7 feet away from the ATM machine. Back in HK, because of the high real estate price, usually we were not provided ample waiting space, so we just waited right behind someone who is using the ATM. Of course, I was very embarrased.

If the USA was Muslim majority would Obama still be "Christian"? Or would he tout his Muslim background?

If the USA was Muslim majority would Obama still be "Christian"? Or would he tout his Muslim background?
Instead of pretending his Dad wasn't Muslim and that he didn't attend and register as Muslim student in Indonesia. Why are Democrats trying to hide his background? It seems very prejudiced.

They're not. You are wrong.

Last I knew we were not a theocracy so it should never matter.

Excellent question. I would bet anything he would not have joined a Christian church 20 years ago (conveniently, at the start of his political career) in the first place.
4 :
Are you for real? I suppose you still believe the earth is flat.
5 :
I guess that means he is pretending every Sunday then. And his wife, his kids...yes, that must be it. Where is his father by the way?
6 :
Yep. he would be muslim, and Allah would be so good to him.
7 :
He would be muslim.
8 :
From Obama's 'Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'
9 :
I think he would be atheist like me. Or better said we all have a religion but most of us don't attend any church. When you are running for an election based position, you have to join the church better fits your political ambitions. Or what do you think? McCain keeps preying every moment? No he is a normal person. and so is Obama. so the better thing you can do Is forget the religious file of any candidate and be subjected to the person's values
10 :
What rumors are you trying to spread now? He talks about the school he went to in Indonesia in his book and about his father and step-father. How is that "trying to hide his background?"
11 :
Would McTraitor?
12 :
Not in your wildest dreams! Has anyone any direct evidence that oh bummer has flat out denied being a muslim? He and the zombies seem to continually dance around this issue.
13 :
Liberals will say or do whatever makes the lemmings vote as they say.
14 :
It should not matter. There is no god. Even if there was, He would have no damn business in our government. Freedom FROM religion.
15 :
Maybe he would hang moronic bigots like you. Jackass. Fake ass Christian
16 :
It's nice to see that despite their falling out of favor with Americans, the Republicans are still good at manipulating the thoughts of the ignorant masses. Obama is hiding nothing. Regardless of his past, he's a Christian now, and so his past doesn't really matter. The reason he's playing it down is obvious. Stupid people, like yourself, are grabbing onto the Muslim thing and running with it...like chickens with their heads cut off. They've forgotten all about the extreme Christian church he belonged to with it's 'crazy' pastor now that the Republicans have given them something new to be afraid of. You also have to consider the fact that you had to register as a Muslim in order to go to the school he attended. If that was the school his parents wanted him to attend, then why not just do what you have to do? Lots of protestants and Jews attend Catholic schools, but that doesn't make them Catholic, now does it? It shouldn't matter even if he WAS still a Muslim, but most Americans are afraid of what they don't understand. They think that all Muslims are terrorists (which is kind of like Muslims thinking we're all terrorists just because a few crazies bomb abortion clinics).
17 :
No, he'd go with the flow. He's the least genuine politician I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot.
18 :
Religion has nothing to do with it. Being a Muslim does, its a disease. The DNC is hiding this like they hid the Edwards affair. The old stream media has been bought and sold. Now the DNC puts plants on sites like this.
19 :
Great question, does'" I was for it before I was against it" sound familiar.RememberJohnF--ingKerry and Kennedy were the big endorsements that sent Hillary down the road!Of course he would tout it as I was Muslim before I was a Christian or an! Athiest I don't know ,but there is a ploy to put Obama in the race just to show the Democratic party is not predudiced. They are trying to cause rioting when Obama is beaten in a GOP Landslide! Then they can MAYBE ASSURE A VICTORY IN 2012 WITH NANCY pELOSI AS THE FIRST AMERICAN FEMALE PRESIDENT WITH HILLARY AS VP! L.O.L.
20 :
these questions are pretty pointless. Obviously Obama supporters are going to say one thing and Mccain supporters are going to say another
21 :
Obama is a camilian who changes his colors to get the vote and that's all that matters! McCain 08'
22 :
He isn't muslim. What real proof do you have that he is. If you do show it here. The thing is you don't have any. If he was Muslim why would he practice Christianity for so many years and never attended a mosque? If he was Muslim I would still support him. The thing is a lot of idiots wouldn't because they are prejudiced against muslims.
23 :
muslim
