What do you want to know about Indonesia?
I will be doing a short multimedia presentation about Indonesia and the cultures to some high school students, so I am putting up a question about what do you want to know about Indonesia? If it is the culture can you please be more exact, whether its a traditional heritage or the modern life style, whether it is the music or the food, or some details? Any input is appreciated and oh, please don't mention anything about malaysian and indonesian, it is in any way inconsistent with indonesian culture knowledge, itself. there are some long twisting thread that need to be straighten out for that and i don't think i can represent all indonesian by answering your question. There are things to consider and please do not say that Malaysian NEVER give much fuss. an argument always happen when two or more parties participate in it, it is not a one party's doing. @getting_bored: you said that you are not spreading hate or anything, but you accidentally will. it is a sensitive matter, some people try to avoid the topics, because it will only make it worse. I think not many know about the true Indonesia, there are many good things ignored over some bad rumor. When you do not know the fact please do not make a statement. so i truly appreciate it if no one will discuss this Malaysian-Indonesian matter again in this completely different matter of question.

im not spreading hate or anything, but... i want to know why majority of indonesians really hate malaysians so much. i mean, arent they supposed to be like brothers and sisters???. in culture and tradition, they're so much the same and yet indonesians dont really like malaysians. i mean, Malaysians never give much fuss about what Indonesians think about them. Indonesians have a 'Ganyang Malaysia' group, Ganyang meaning 'Crush' for example, recently, some Indonesians were conducting a 'Malaysian sweeping'... http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2009/09/08/activists-conduct-sweep-against-malaysians-street.html im so curious, the hate only goes one way..... oh yeah, and the enviromental factor too.....
